I found this some time ago while surfing the net looking for photographic gadgets and toys...
It is a fully functioning digital camera disguised as a cigarette lighter, with a resolution of 1280x960 Pixels ( cmos sensor 300k pixels)

spy cam may be a tiny camera outfitted with a lens and microphone that may capture video. The term self-contained suggests that the camera could be a fully-purposeful, freelance device that does not need any external wires or hookups to record video or, in some instances, take photos.
